Four Months Old!!

Where is the time going? We have a little man on our hands. Owen is getting bigger and bigger every day! I'm sure you all know that though! Owen started sleeping through the night the week I went back to work and with an exception to a few days, he sleeps from 9 or 10ish to 5:30 or 6 the next morning. On days when I don't work, he sometimes sleeps until 7! I think he is like his daddy, daddy likes to sleep!

Owen has been much more talkative in the last few days. He coos, gurgles, and speaks his mind! Daddy is the only one that can make him laugh, ,usually, but our friend Brian made him laugh yesterday! Patty, the lady that is watching Owen while we work, has been enjoying taking care of Owen and she is doing an absolutely wonderful job. We feel very blessed to have her watch Owen. She says that Owen is easy to take care of and he is just a generally happy baby. Way to go Owen!

Owen had his 4 month check up this past week and the doctor is very pleased with his progress. He feels that Owen is right on target with all the other 4 month olds. Owen is also flipping from side to side when he is on his back. It won't be much longer before he can completely roll over! Owen weighed in at 14 lbs, 5 oz. and he is 24.8 inches long! He has long since outgrown 0-3 month and we are putting him in 6 month clothing! I swear we just started him in those clothes like two weeks ago and he is filling the clothes out perfectly! I also forgot to mention that the doctor noticed that Owen has two teeth starting to come in on the bottom. He also said that we could start feeding him Rice Cereal! You should see this kid! He takes it like a champ!

Grandma MJ came to visit for a short while and we had so much fun with her! She took care of Owen while mom and dad worked. It was a good way to spend time with her grandson! Grandma, too, was impressed with what a good baby he was. Ok, Ok, maybe I'm a little proud of our guy, but more than anything, I feel blessed that God would give us such a wonderful gift!

It's a tradition in Texas to have pictures taken in the Blue Bonnets. We did that this past weekend and I have a few good pictures. My friend, Ellen, helped scout out some good patches to take pictures in! Thanks Ellen!
